About Tokan Kogyo

Our company was founded on February 18th, 1943 in Osaka, Japan under the name of Tokan Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. as a synthetic resin forming manufacturer under Toyo Seikan Kaisha, Ltd.

The corporate name has been changed to the current one, Tokan Kogyo Co., Ltd. after commencing paper cup production. Corrugated and solid board conversion business also started, but the conversion business was split, and established a new company on October 1st, 2003.
